Abstract

This article examines the significance and urgent need for implementing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) education technologies within Uzbekistan's preschool education system. Through comprehensive analysis of international best practices and consideration of Uzbekistan's unique cultural and educational context, the study demonstrates how early STEAM integration fosters 21st-century skills, enhances cognitive development, and prepares children for future technological landscapes. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining policy analysis, pedagogical assessment, and case studies from other post-Soviet educational systems that have successfully integrated STEAM. Findings indicate that STEAM implementation in preschools significantly improves problem-solving abilities, creativity, and digital literacy while aligning with Uzbekistan's national development goals. The article provides specific recommendations for curriculum adaptation, teacher training, and resource allocation to facilitate effective STEAM integration in Uzbekistan's early childhood education sector.
