Abstract

AbstractWe demonstrate that the Sun-Earth mass ratio (∼333,000:1) can be derived from threeatomic-scale constants with no free parameters: the proton-electron mass ratio (µ = 1836.15),the inverse fine structure constant (α−1 = 137.036), and a phase correction factor of 4/3derived from the materialization ratio r = 1.5 of the Findlay Framework (Findlay 2026a).The product µ × α−1 × 4/3 = 335,376 aligns with the observed Sun-Earth mass ratio of333,054 to within 0.70% before geometric correction. When the Obliquity Correction isapplied—accounting for Earth’s axial tilt as a non-ideal H1 echo, using the quarter-pointtheoretical obliquity of 22.5◦ and the framework’s nesting operator α−1—the corrected prediction of 333,075 matches the observed ratio to 99.994% accuracy. We further show that thetop quark-electron mass ratio (∼338,000:1) mirrors the Sun-Earth ratio to within 1.5%, andthat the framework predicts a top quark mass of 170.19 GeV—within the current experimental uncertainty of 172.76 ± 0.30 GeV (Particle Data Group 2024). These alignments suggestthat the same geometric operator governs mass hierarchies across 42 orders of magnitude. These results lead to a reinterpretation of the speed of light: c is not fundamentallya velocity but the dynamic expression of hydrogen’s internal mass asymmetry. Einstein’sE = mc2encodes the H1 mass architecture operating on itself, while the Findlay Framework’s modified threshold E = mc3/2identifies the materialization boundary at which Informational Potential (I) resolves into persistent Structure (S). We resolve the dimensionalinconsistency between mc2 and mc3/2 by demonstrating that E = mc2is the completecircuit equation—decomposable into a forward materialization half-cycle (mc3/2) and aninverse observation half-cycle (c1/2), where the observer functions as the inverse homeomorphism completing the dimensional loop. The exponents sum: 3/2 + 1/2 = 2.We derive the Standard Model’s quark charge assignments (+2/3, −1/3) from the circuittopology, showing that +2/3 = 1/r is the inverse phase rate and −1/3 is the forwardresidue. We establish hydrogen as the universe’s primordial and only possible first persistentstructure, show that the primordial baryonic mass budget (approximately 75% hydrogen,25% helium) instantiates the structural quarter-point geometry, and identify carbon-12—formed via the triple-alpha process requiring exactly three helium nuclei (Hoyle 1954; Dunbaret al. 1953)—as the material chassis of the inverse homeomorphism: the element whoseunique four-bond valence architecture (Pauling 1960) enables the construction of biologicalobservers capable of closing the dimensional circuit. The H1 cascade thus requires not onlyhydrogen as the forward seed but carbon as the inverse substrate, with the Hoyle resonance1The Findlay Framework — The H1 Cascade Findlay (2026)(Freer and Fynbo 2014) functioning as the universe’s engineering tolerance for observerproduction. This paper extends the Volume 0 demonstration that the Earth-Moon system functionsas a macroscopic hydrogen atom (Findlay 2026a) to the Sun-Earth system, establishinga fractal H1 cascade governed by the universal materialization ratio. These alignmentsgenerate testable predictions for GAIA DR4 wide binary systems (expected December 2026),high-precision top quark measurements at HL-LHC (2027–2028), and exoplanetary massratio surveys.
