Testing Ethical Constraints as Architectural Necessity in Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning Systems
Abstract
Preregistration for a confirmatory MARL experiment testing whether ethical constraints are structurally required for sustained interrogative complexity, or merely modulatory. Two conditions: all_constrained vs. all_unconstrained, 10 seeds, 500 epochs, Delta-Variable harness. Related work: 10.5281/zenodo.18738379 (parent study — confirmatory platform)
