Digital Contract Lifecycle Management Systems for Corporate Governance and Regulatory Oversight
Abstract
Corporate organizations maintain large collections of contracts related to procurement, partnerships, licensing, and regulatory obligations. Contract records often remain distributed across departments, which creates difficulty during compliance review and legal verification. This research examines the design of digital contract lifecycle management systems that support centralized contract storage, obligation tracking, and review procedures. The proposed system includes structured contract repositories, automated notification modules for contractual deadlines, and reporting dashboards that present contract status information. The study shows that digital contract management systems assist legal teams and compliance officers in monitoring contractual obligations and maintaining organized documentation records across organizational operations.
