A collection of poems, prose fragments, letters, botanical registers, and transcriptions written for and around a daughter in early childhood. The title is from Sappho, Fragment 132: "My little girl's face, / like bright yellow flowers: Cleis, / more precious to me / than all Lydia." The collection includes original Sappho translations (Fragments 132, 98b, 102, 24, 105b, 88); lyric poems on fatherhood, growth, impermanence, and devotion; "The Botanist's Daughter" (a poem-sequence on dandelions, weeds, and children's play); "A Compendium of Flowers and Weeds" (a botanical-poetic register drawing on Welsh mythology, Whitman, Ginsberg, and classical sources); prose letters from father to daughter; notebook fragments; and a child's own transcribed story. The collection moves between registers — lyric compression, prose confession, botanical taxonomy, Sapphic translation, and raw notebook — without smoothing the transitions. The roughness is the form. The weeds are the flowers. Part of the Crimson Hexagonal Archive. The collection is a somatic document — a compression of early fatherhood into recoverable form. It is Τ applied to the most irreversible of temporal compressions: the growth of a child.
