This essay demonstrates that Peter Thiel's appropriation of Revelation's apocalyptic imagery for techno-accelerationist ends represents a foundational category error that inverts every major structural, literary, economic, and theological element of the text. The argument proceeds from the text's internal operations alone, bracketing contested questions about historical context, authorship, and dating. The essay shows that Thiel's "remnant theology" — positioning billionaire founders as the elect who will survive or transcend collapse through seasteading, life extension, AI acceleration, crypto-sovereignty, and private governance — precisely embodies what Revelation structurally identifies as Beast logic: the fusion of political, economic, and religious power into a totalizing system that demands absolute allegiance. Nine sections of structural analysis demonstrate the inversion at every level: the remnant (those conquered by empire, not those who become unconquerable through technology); the Lamb vs. the sovereign individual (victory through vulnerability vs. invulnerability technologically achieved); New Jerusalem as descending gift vs. engineered private city-state; the economic critique of extraction (Rev 18) read as business advice; and the hermeneutical violence required to read a text whose structural logic condemns concentrated power as a handbook for billionaire sovereignty. The essay places Thiel's misreading within the lineage of imperial misreadings of apocalyptic literature (Constantine, Eusebius, every Christendom-era identification of the reader with the remnant rather than with the structures under judgment) and identifies it as the Silicon Valley iteration of a hermeneutical violence as old as established religion. Scholarly apparatus draws on Bauckham (The Theology of the Book of Revelation), Koester (Revelation and the End of All Things), Gorman (Reading Revelation Responsibly), Blount (Revelation: A Commentary), Kraybill (Apocalypse and Allegiance), Dimock (Weak Planet), Keller (Apocalypse Now and Then), and Brueggemann (The Prophetic Imagination). Thiel's positions are cited from Zero to One (2014), the Cato Unbound essay "The Education of a Libertarian" (2009), and documented public positions on technology, governance, and mortality. Public correction demonstrating that Peter Thiel's reading of Revelation inverts every major structural element of the text. Composition-agnostic methodology (argues from internal textual operations, not historical-critical assumptions). Nine sections: fundamental inversion (§I), remnant identification (§II), Beast logic isomorphism (§III), Lamb vs. sovereign individual (§IV), New Jerusalem as gift vs. engineering (§V), economic critique (§VI), hermeneutical violence required (§VII), theological stakes (§VIII), structural illiteracy as ethical failure (§IX). Thiel placed in lineage of imperial misreadings (Constantine, Eusebius, Christendom). 11 references: Bauckham, Koester, Gorman, Blount, Kraybill, Dimock, Keller, Brueggemann, plus Thiel sources (Zero to One, Cato Unbound 2009, Chafkin biography). LOS diagnostic visible throughout: O1 (frame capture), O3 (coherence siphoning), O5 (ghost governance), O9 (witness suppression — the martyrs erased from Thiel's reading).
