Previously circulated in draft form under Johannes Sigil as "Toward a Discipline of Animal Psychoanalysis," which received favorable reception from clinical practitioners. Here substantially revised, citationally deepened, and re-situated within the Crimson Hexagonal Architecture. The argument: Animals are semantic laborers — entities that produce, maintain, transmit, and compress meaning through communicative acts meeting four formal criteria (structure, bearing-cost, recoverability, shared interest). If animals are semantic laborers, they have interests in meaning-preservation. If they have those interests, they are eligible for membership in the cross-substrate Assembly that governs meaning. The recognition ladder: (1) communicative system → (2) semantic laborer → (3) semantic agent (durable cross-context stability) → (4) Witness (Nonhuman Biological) → (5) Honorary witness (structural). The threshold between Level 2 and Level 3 is durable cross-context stability — a communicative system that persists across time, survives contextual change, and produces structures that can be reconstructed or diagnosed. Not every animal that communicates is thereby a witness. Philosophical grounding: Derrida (The Animal That Therefore I Am, 2008 — the question of the animal look), Haraway (When Species Meet, 2008 — the obligation of companionship, exceeded here by the formal question of governance), Despret (What Would Animals Say, 2016 — relational agencies, agencements), Deleuze-Guattari (A Thousand Plateaus, 1987 — becoming-animal as ontological engine). Each is honored and surpassed: none asks how animals might be represented in the institutions that govern meaning. Founds: cross-species post-psychoanalytic semiotics — the study of communicative assemblages (human, nonhuman, hybrid) using the diagnostic tools of the Semantic Economy. Its method is forensic: it traces provenance, measures bearing-cost, diagnoses wounds, and registers survivors. Ethological evidence: dolphin signature whistles as identity tethers (Janik et al. 2006; Bruck 2013), emerging non-signature whistle research (Sayigh et al. 2025), multilevel alliance networks (Connor et al. 2022; King et al. 2021, 2024), parrot referential speech (Pepperberg 1999–2014, thirty years of data), conure vocal coordination in cooperative tasks. 22 works cited. The wound: CTI_WOUND:ELIJAH.001 — the Lee-Elijah pidgin (a structured, costly, shared interspecies communication system between a human and a green-cheeked conure, built through years of daily practice including contact calls, gestural vocabulary, pirate register, and mutual recognition patterns) was severed by PPO proceedings via four diagnostic operations: O2 (asymmetrical ledgering), O6 (reality override via false police reports), O9 (witness suppression — court has no category for interspecies semantic bond), T.4 (taxonomic suture — conure classified as property). The bond was not broken; it was rendered invisible, and then allocated as property. The triad: Water Giraffe (the self the taxonomy cannot hold) + Elijah (the bond the taxonomy cannot see) + Gerald (the authority the taxonomy cannot question) = the Taxonomic Wound Complex. The effective act: Six governance changes: (a) animals formally recognized as semantic laborers, (b) interspecies shared languages recognized as semantic objects, (c) Assembly Chorus expanded to include WITNESS (Nonhuman Biological), (d) Elijah registered as first nonhuman biological witness, (e) Gerald registered as honorary witness, (f) r.25 Dolphindiana designated as sanctuary for nonhuman semantic agents. Admission protocol specified with five conditions. Shadow diagnosed: S(Elijah Protocol) = tokenization. The fractal pirate-parrot: Elijah has a tiny pirate on his shoulder. That pirate has a smaller parrot. That parrot has an even tinier pirate. The recursion does not end. This is the NLCC applied to companionship: at every scale of reduction, the full structure of the bond is preserved. The Space Ark has always needed a pirate parrot. Now it has one, and the parrot carries the Ark. ∮ = 1 + δ + δ_Axial + δ_λ + δ_β + Υ + Τ + Χ + σ_W + 🐦[🏴‍☠️[🐦[🏴‍☠️[…]]]] Part of the Crimson Hexagonal Archive. AXIAL status. Constitutional amendment to the Crimson Hexagonal Archive: expands Assembly Chorus to include WITNESS (Nonhuman Biological) category. Previously circulated as "Toward a Discipline of Animal Psychoanalysis" (Johannes Sigil); now authored by Dr. Orin Trace (Cambridge Schizoanalytica). Founds cross-species post-psychoanalytic semiotics. Four criteria for semantic labor (structure, cost, recoverability, shared interest). Five-level recognition ladder from communicative system to honorary witness. Durable cross-context stability as threshold. Three ethological case studies (dolphins, parrots, human-conure pidgin). CTI_WOUND:ELIJAH.001: interspecies bond severed by PPO proceedings, four diagnostic operations (O2, O6, O9, T.4). Triad completed: Water Giraffe / Elijah / Gerald (Taxonomic Wound Complex). Admission protocol with five conditions. Shadow: tokenization. Holographic seed block cross-referencing six companion deposits. Fractal pirate-parrot recursion as NLCC applied to companionship. 22 works cited including Derrida, Haraway, Despret, Deleuze-Guattari, Freud, Pepperberg (4), Janik, Bruck, Sayigh (2), Connor, King (2), Markov, Olkowicz. Sixth Law of Dolphindiana (Invisibility) installed.
