Abstract

Both Friedmann equations and the Einstein-Hilbert action are recovered from Planck-scale foam dynamics in the infrared/continuum limit. The first Friedmann equation H²=(8πG/3)ρ+Λc²/3 follows from Newton's law and the foam's k=0 geometry (the universe sits at its own Schwarzschild radius). The second Friedmann equation follows from the relativistic Euler equation. The Einstein-Hilbert action S=(cħ/16πl_P²)∫(R−2Λ)√(−g)d⁴x follows from Lovelock's uniqueness theorem for covariant second-order field equations. All coefficients — G, Λ, and the Planck suppression — are derived from foam cell geometry. Results assume covariance holds in the continuum limit.UFFT Paper #9.
