The Polynomial Descent: Elemental Coupling of the Eigenvalue Tower
Abstract
The self-consistency equation α⁻¹ + S·α = 4π³ + π² + π has a polynomial right-hand side with integer coefficients (4,1,1). An exhaustive search confirms this combination as the unique sub-10 ppb isolate. The RHS factors as π(4π² + π + 1), generating a tower of quadratics sharing the same self-referential constant S = 1/4! + 3!!/8!. Each level divides by exactly π. Solving x² − RHSₖ·x + S = 0 at each level k and taking ⌊x_large⌋ yields the sequence: 137 → 43 → 13 → 4 → 1. Level 1 (Z = 43): Technetium — no stable isotopes, every decay channel is weak-force. Level 2 (Z = 13): Aluminium — the eigenvalue γ⁻¹ = 13.882 matches the three-loop running strong coupling αs⁻¹(μ) at μ ≈ 845 GeV (converged: 2-loop to 3-loop shift < 0.1%). Level 3 (Z = 4): Beryllium — ⁸Be has a lifetime of 8.19 × 10⁻¹⁷ s, the shortest-lived ground state in the entire chart of nuclides; the strong force cannot sustain it. Level 4 (Z = 1): Hydrogen — the carrier of water, the medium of osmosis, the reentry to the constraint surface. The coefficients (4,1,1) are the atomic numbers at Levels 3 and 4. The denominator 4! = 24 is chromium (Z = 24). The √2 diagonal through the Klein bottle produces a parallel column: Pm(61) → K(19) → C(6) → H(1) — the biology column. The √2φ extension yields the boundary column. Zero measured inputs. Every element identified has the exact structural pathology expected at its force level.
