BeefAI™ Female Genetic Evaluation — Methodology and Technical Reference: A Five-Layer Framework for Sex-Aware Breeding Female Assessment
Abstract
BeefAI™ Female Genetic Evaluation is a five-layer sex-aware framework for scoring and classifying Angus breeding females. It applies the identical APEX scoring engine used for bull evaluation while introducing female-specific biological guardrails, heifer safety limits, reproductive efficiency layers, and role classification (Core Breeder, Herd Builder, Specialist, Review). This document describes the full mathematical methodology, the five assessment layers, heifer-specific thresholds, the Female APEX scoring pipeline, and the Maternal V2 engine integration. All scoring is deterministic and reproducible from TACE-published EBV data. Calibrated to the March 2026 TransTasman Angus Cattle Evaluation (TACE), published by Angus Australia. Engines: APEX • ACE • CER • MEI • GENEius • BeefAI Signals™ • CEI • BAI-CERT
