Beckers Collection (Aachen) - Ushabti UB-014: Ushabti of Hori I (Tell Basta) (Preliminary Version)

This record presents the preliminary object documentation for UB-014, a faience ushabti of the Viceroy of Kush Hori I (late 20th Dynasty), attributed to the tomb context at Tell Basta (Bubastis). The documentation combines object description, typological classification, and provenance research, including analysis of the Khayat family network and the modern art market history (Superior Galleries 1978; Sotheby’s 1979). The present version (v1) is published prior to the physical arrival of the object in the collection. Professional photographic documentation will be added in a subsequent version update. This publication is part of an ongoing research-driven collection project, aiming at transparent, versioned, and citable object records.
