Abstract

[DEPRECATED — Superseded by 10.5281/zenodo.19304441 (2026-03-28)]Changelog2026-03-28: Corrected version deposited at concept DOI 10.5281/zenodo.19304441 (paper2_triple_hierarchy). The corrected analysis uses self-consistent r_s(Ω_m) scaling per Percival 2007; the spurious Δχ²(w_0 w_a) = 4.74 signal collapses to Δχ² = 0.12 (statistically unsupported, no evidence for evolving dark energy). Footnote 1 of the corrected paper: "An earlier version of this analysis held r_s fixed at the Planck fiducial while varying Ω_m. This inverts the sign of the Ω_m sensitivity and produced a spurious w_0 w_a improvement (Δχ² = 4.74). With self-consistent r_s(Ω_m) scaling, the signal collapses to Δχ² = 0.12."2026-03-26 (THIS DEPOSIT, 19232340): Pre-registration of Paper 2 Partition of Cosmological Tensions. Used fixed r_s = 147.09 Mpc (Planck fiducial) while varying Ω_m. The reported Δχ²(w_0 w_a) = 4.74 with w_0 = -0.634, w_a = -1.388 is a methodology artefact, not a physical signal. The Ω_m ≈ 0.295 ± 0.010 value reported in this deposit is consistent with DESI DR2's already-public Ω_m = 0.289 ± 0.007 (arXiv:2503.14738, March 2025); this deposit (dated 2026-03-26) does NOT establish independent prediction status for Ω_m, since DESI DR2's measurement was already public for ~12 months at the time of deposit. The Ω_m claim is consistent-with-public-data, not a prediction that was confirmed. The dark-energy evolution claim (Δχ² = 4.74) is the methodology artefact described above and does not stand under any framing.Use 10.5281/zenodo.19304441 for the corrected analysis. This deposit (19232340) is preserved as the original pre-registration record per public-failure-disclosure discipline; its specific quantitative claims about evolving dark energy and predictive status of Ω_m are superseded. Pre-Registration — Euclid DR1 (October 21, 2026) This release timestamps the pre-registered predictions from Paper 2 ahead of the Euclid DR1 release.
