Sub-Horizon Shell Model of Black Holes
Abstract
The black-hole branch of Geometric Cosmology is developed by formulating a sub-horizon shell model in which gravitational collapse does not end in a central singularity, but in a thin shell located just inside the classical horizon. The framework is built in standard general-relativistic language using junction conditions, shell stress-energy, and effective stability analysis. The paper shows how the model resolves the singularity problem by replacing divergent curvature with a finite shell structure and how it addresses the information paradox by relocating information-bearing degrees of freedom from an inaccessible singular point to a finite near-horizon shell. Further, the paper integrates conceptual motivation, mathematical formalism, a toy shell model, consistency with established black-hole thermodynamics, and falsifiability criteria.
