Abstract

As the UK navigates a profound shift in youth mental health challenges, the transition from reactive crisis management to sustainable, proactive care has become a national priority. This article introduces the C.R.A.D.L.E. Framework, a proprietary methodology developed by Cradle of Wellbeing CIC. Synthesising established psychological theories, including attachment theory, humanistic psychology, and rights-based participation, the framework offers six strategic pillars: Connect, Resolve, Affirm, Defend, Listen, and Empower. This document interrogates the theoretical scaffolding of each pillar, providing an evidence-based roadmap for implementing trauma-informed support within educational and community settings.
