Chance and the Cost of Physics: Structural Accounting Under Entropy
Abstract
This artifact applies a single structural constraint across several canonical problems in physics and cosmology: history is not free. Using Structural Flow as a minimal structural grammar, the paper examines double-slit observation, entanglement, wavefunction collapse, photon propagation, dark matter, and nothingness by asking where physical explanation quietly assumes costless persistence, costless memory, or costless integration. The goal is not to propose mechanisms or compete with empirical models, but to record what follows when those assumptions are withdrawn. This version is preserved as a live origin-layer bridge in the physics program. Its central accounting move remains active, while some downstream questions—most notably dark matter—have since been sharpened differently in later work. The artifact is therefore preserved for continuity and public legibility rather than presented as the final canonical formulation of every physics-facing claim it touches.
