Greenhouse gas emissions from peatland areas estimated from peat depth distributions

This repository provides R scripts for estimating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from peatland areas using peat depth distributions.The workflow links pixel-based peat depth data to peat carbon stocks and depletion rates, and derives annual CO₂, CH₄ and N₂O fluxes over a 200-year period.The approach is applicable to peatland areas with varying peat depths and land use types.
