DEMs and Stream Networks of 100 Natural Catchments across Humid and Arid Regions of the United States

This dataset contains Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) and extracted stream networks (using curvature based approach) for 100 natural river basins across the United States, classified by climate. Fifty basins are from arid regions and fifty from humid regions. The original DEMs were obtained from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), and the DEMs provided here have been resampled to a spatial resolution of 5 m. D1-D50 are from dry climate and H1-H50 are from humid climate. Please see the related research article for more details about the data and channel network extraction.
