Abstract

This preprint develops a unified conceptual interpretation of quantum entanglement, wave–particle duality, and the double-slit experiment within the OIT (On Information and Time) framework. Building on OIT-SIM (A Spacelike 5D Informational Metric) and OIT-TISIM (Thermodynamics and Information in a Spacelike 5D Informational Metric), the paper proposes that these phenomena can be understood in terms of a global 5D relational configuration defined in an extended informational manifold with coordinates (t,x,y,z,I). In this view, Entanglement corresponds to informational coherence between distinct particles, while Wave–Particle Duality and the Double-Slit Experiment correspond to informational coherence between alternative trajectories of a single particle. Observation is interpreted as a branch-selection process that resolves the pre-existing 5D structure into definite 4D outcomes. The work is conceptual and interpretive: it does not claim to replace standard quantum mechanics or to derive its formalism, but to show that the 5D-IM framework may provide a geometric perspective on quantum correlations that does not rely on local hidden variables, while remaining compatible with no-signalling and relativistic causality. https://orcid.org/ - 0009-0002-3646-1493
