MetaTime XII: Sociophysics of Information as an Operational Framework Overwrite, Resonance, and Multi-Node Conflict in Macro-Transducers
Abstract
MetaTime XII develops a socio-physical extension of the MetaTime program in which society is modeled as a macro-transducer: a nonequilibrium network of biological transducers sharing a finite execution budget on a common rendering layer. Each node converts latent informational structure (rho_L) into executed structure (rho_I) through an execution current, paying an irreversible cost together with a surcharge associated with topological incompatibility and network congestion. This revised version strengthens the original framework by introducing a more explicit operational layer and by clarifying the epistemic status of its thermodynamic language. In particular, Landauer-type terms are treated as diagnostic bookkeeping rather than as direct physical constraints unless the substrate, coarse-graining, and effective temperature are independently anchored. The paper also sharpens the interpretation of resonance and predictive coordination by clarifying the limits of observational proxies and by distinguishing genuine non-destructive resonance from simple serial correlation or common-input synchronization. The result is a more disciplined and testable version of MetaTime XII, positioned at the intersection of information thermodynamics, mathematical sociophysics, active matter, and multi-agent coordination.
