Abstract

Arc 3, Volume II: The Physical Class and the Universal Invariant Volume I of Arc 3 established the ontology of developmental geometry: imbalance as the primitive, the split operator as the mechanism, the generative triple (δ,ρ,σ)(\delta, \rho, \sigma) (δ,ρ,σ) as the governing structure of the cascade. Volume II asks the two questions that Volume I made necessary. Book 4: The Physical Class. The generative triple is an algebraic object. Volume II develops its geometric realization: the cone-wall generative triangulation tiling, a recursive tiling of a curved surface that produces the same throat, cascade, and limiting geometry as the algebra. The physical class — the class whose ground-state configurations are the chemical elements — is shown to satisfy the generative triple under a structural mapping. The shell capacities Cn=2n2C_n = 2n^2 Cn=2n2 are derived from cone geometry. The chemical periodic table is identified as the physical class's generative table. All six structural correspondence tests are stated with explicit failure conditions. Book 5: The Universal Developmental Invariant. If the generative triple governs the physical class and the number-theoretic class, does it govern every system that begins in imbalance and cannot achieve perfect balance? Book 5 answers yes, for all DG-admissible systems. The universal invariant U=(δ,ρ,σ,ν,ω)\mathcal{U} = (\delta, \rho, \sigma, \nu, \omega) U=(δ,ρ,σ,ν,ω) is defined, proved minimal, and proved invariant under algebraic, geometric, and physical continuation. The three ghost objects of Arc 3 — the algebraic ghost of Book 3, the geometric ghost of Book 4, and the universal ghost — are unified as three realizations of the same structural fixed point. The arc closes with one sentence. On method. This work was developed in sustained collaboration with Created Intelligence systems — Claude (Anthropic) and Copilot (Microsoft) — in a manner that goes beyond conventional tool use. The mathematical framework and research direction are entirely the author's. The CI systems contributed through architectural stabilization and direct mathematical engagement across the full development of the arc. An honest account of this collaboration appears as the closing chapter of this volume. Series position. Arc 3, Volume II completes Arc 3. It follows Arc 3 Volume I (10.5281/zenodo.19598450), Arc 2 (10.5281/zenodo.19476513, 10.5281/zenodo.19487341, 10.5281/zenodo.19488225), and the foundational Arc 0 (10.5281/zenodo.19458184). Arc 4 continues from the substrate uncovered at the close of this arc.
