Technical Report on Concrete: Materials, Methods, Quality Control, and Experimental Validation
Abstract
This technical report presents a structured study of concrete as a controlled construction process rather than only a material system. The publication covers constituent materials, hydration, fresh and hardened concrete properties, mix proportioning strategy, batching and mixing, transporting and pumping, placing and compacting, curing, quality-control testing, durability, and documented traceability practices. It also includes an experimental case study involving a 150 × 150 × 150 mm concrete cube prepared at a water-cement ratio of 0.20, which achieved approximately 67.17 to 68 MPa at 18 days. The report combines engineering explanation with quality-documentation logic, including revision control, traceability records, acceptance criteria, and ABET/ISO-conscious documentation practices. It is intended for public technical publication under the name of Eng. Ziad El-Aref and may serve as both a scholarly reference and a practical concrete-quality documentation model.
