Causal Loops, Depth-2 Recursion, and the Inevitable Golden Ratio in Physics, Cosmology, and Cognition
Abstract
Fibonacci Causal Loop Theory (FCLT) proposes that the necessity recursion S(n) = S(n−1) + S(n−2) is the universal organizational constraint, driving physical and biological systems toward the golden ratio φ ≈ 1.618 as a mathematical necessity. This volume presents the complete FCLT series: 63 papers spanning astrophysics, nuclear physics, condensed matter, molecular biology, neuroscience, oncology, hydrology, particle physics, quantum foundations, and cosmology, under one recursion. The series now stands at 10 confirmed predictions / 4 falsified / 1 technology-gap pending. Version 13 adds the 10th confirmed prediction: Prediction 22a (quasicrystal approximant phi-deviation fits δ(n) ∝ φ⁻²ⁿ, R²=0.9987, out-of-sample n=6 prediction accurate to δ=0.000026; DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20007568). Chapter 63 extends FCLT to closed timelike curve loops, deriving that phi-structured information is the unique class stable under Novikov self-consistency constraints (theoretical prediction, technology gap stated; DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19998438).The mathematical foundation is established in Chapter 42: depth-2 recursion is the unique stable recursive architecture permitted by physics, making φ inevitable rather than coincidental. The series spans from S(0) at the Planck vacuum floor to S(588) at cosmic organizational depth, resolving the cosmological constant problem via the Binet remnant φ⁻⁵⁸⁸ ≈ 10⁻¹²³. Every result is falsifiable. Every null result is published. The falsification record is part of the record.
