Distinction Formalism: A Minimal Structural Framework of Historical Non-Substitutability
Abstract
This paper proposes a minimal structural framework in which stable existence is defined not only by distinction, but by the irreducible historical continuity through which distinctions persist. The framework introduces historical non-substitutability as a possible minimal condition underlying irreversibility, continuity, causality, and stable persistence.
