El Paradigma del Tau Sistémico y la Ley del Reloj Extramental Discreto como respuesta ontológica y profundización del proyecto antropológico de Leonardo Polo
Abstract
This paper establishes a systematic dialogue between Leonardo Polo’s transcendental anthropology and the Systemic Tau paradigm. It argues that the Law of the Discrete Extramental Clock (RECD) offers an ontology of time fully compatible with Polo’s characterization of the human being as “a spirit in time.” By conceiving extramental time as a discrete, fractal-stochastic, and hierarchically emergent sequence governed by Feigenbaum’s universal constants, the framework resolves the tension between personal freedom and the deterministic conceptions inherited from Newtonian modernity. A rigorous correspondence is established between Polo’s notion of efficient causality and Feigenbaum’s constant (δ ≈ 4.6692016091), thereby integrating his philosophical physics with the dynamics of complex systems. The work further demonstrates that the four-level ontological architecture of extramental time provides a precise solution to the Baron’s Trilemma (infinite regress, circularity, and dogmatism). This architecture exhibits a structural parallelism with Polo’s four entitative acts (Physical Essence, Physical Form, Prime Matter, and Efficient Cause), reinforcing the non-regressive and foundational character of the proposal. Empirical validations in canonical chaotic systems and real biological data (Aedes aegypti populations in Puerto Rico, 2018–2019) confirm the spontaneous emergence of the extramental clock with a fractal dimension of approximately 1.98. The paradigm thus bridges metaphysics and complexity science, updating Polo’s anthropological project for the twenty-first century while offering a mathematically rigorous and empirically grounded ontology of time.
