Paper IV Space Damping, Inertial Dynamics, and the Speed of Light Limit
Abstract
This paper is the fourth in the Planck Cube Space Theory series. It establishes a unified framework for space damping, inertial dynamics, and the speed of light limit based on Axiom A3.3 (intrinsic damping of space). Key results include: A first‑principles derivation of the Lorentz factor γ=1/1−v2/c2γ=1/1−v2/c2 from the microscopic mechanism of cube rebound wave pursuit. Low‑speed damping force F=η0vF=η0v and high‑speed damping force F=η0γ3vF=η0γ3v, derived directly from cubic lattice dynamics. A complete kinetic energy equation that separates forward resistance dissipation and rebound wave loss. A simplified kinetic energy equation that reproduces the relativistic kinetic energy formula (γ−1)m0c2(γ−1)m0c2 with experimental accuracy 10−710−7. A comprehensive comparison with special relativity, showing numerical equivalence but distinct physical interpretations (mass remains constant; high‑speed difficulty originates from space damping, not mass increase). The theory provides a geometric, microscopic origin for inertia, the speed of light limit, the Lorentz factor, and high‑speed dynamics, without borrowing postulates from relativity.
