Abstract

BU64 develops a plain, non-mystified account of Turiya and source-position continuity under the $B_U$ framework. The paper begins by separating three layers that are often confused: cinematic narrative, the Upanishadic concept of Turiya, and direct lived experience. The cinematic layer may use images of nonlinear time or higher-dimensional space, but it remains a projection-level metaphor. The Upanishadic layer identifies Turiya as the “fourth,” beyond waking, dreaming, and deep sleep. The experiential layer is treated more simply: under low external disturbance, long-duration concentration, and sustained alignment between action and consciousness, awareness may remain bright and continuous even while ordinary sleep or rest occurs. The paper rejects mystical inflation. Turiya is not defined as a supernatural state, an extraordinary power, or a dramatic altered condition. It is described as a low-noise continuity window in which material grasping, emotional perturbation, and cognitive self-entanglement all become extremely weak. Thoughts may arise, but they do not obtain standing; they appear and vanish without forming attachment, narrative, calculation, or object-retention. This is expressed as: consciousness remains bright, while projection-level contents do not settle into the ledger. BU64 further clarifies that Turiya is not merely a fourth experience-state. It is the attribute-free basis on which waking, dreaming, and deep sleep appear. In this sense, it functions as a doorway toward $B_U$: a threshold where projection-stratum language, objecthood, subject-object duality, and formal self-reference lose final authority. There is no language-position or root-word inside Turiya; it is pure IS, prior to objectification. The final section extends this upward cut to the $B_U$ ontic layer. At that level, time does not become extremely slow and space does not collapse into a singularity. Rather, the semantic conditions of time, space, object distinction, and readability fail. The ontic layer is therefore indicated as unreadable total-reality oneness beyond spacetime semantics.
