Directional Anisotropy Gravity (DAG) v12.3: Theory, Verifications, and Predictions
Abstract
The Directional Anisotropy Gravity (DAG) programme takes existence as the sole primitive ontological input and asks, at each step, what minimal additional structure the mere admission of existence already forces: something that exists can differ from something else (distinction); differences can be oriented (direction); orientations can change under a rule (action); a rule for change has a generator (Hamiltonian); and the ordered sequence of states that generator produces is time. The chain existence → distinction → direction → action → Hamiltonian → emergent time is the structural skeleton common to every working framework — general relativity, quantum field theory, loop quantum gravity, causal sets, string theory — though each takes it as given rather than as the start of a derivation. DAG treats the chain itself as the primary object and asks what minimal additions above it the observational record forces. The current answer is eight postulates: six describing the substrate as a self-contained system (three oriented spatial directions with two senses and three anchors per stitched face; discreteness; coordinate-freeness; an orientation-exchange Direction–Orbit Coupling Hamiltonian; relational energy; and an open-system memory channel with a single collective infrared forgetting rate Γ_F), plus two substrate-to-geometry bridges (a gravitational Born rule for the temporal lapse, and a site-local Regge edge map for the spatial ruler). No other free input has been introduced for any demonstrated result. From this minimal substrate the v12.2 edition derives or identifies — without new fitting parameters — a controlled general-relativistic limit (Einstein–Hilbert at leading infrared order; the exponential static-vacuum metric in closed form); the leading post-Newtonian parameters β_PPN = γ_PPN = 1 and η_Nordtvedt = 0; universal matter coupling with weak-equivalence-principle residual δa/a ≲ 10⁻²⁶ for nuclear-scale composition differences in solar-system gradients (eleven orders below the MICROSCOPE bound); unified Einstein–Maxwell backreaction with no leading non-minimal photon–curvature coupling; a one-rate memory dark sector with a_* = c Γ_F, the baryonic Tully–Fisher law v_f⁴ = G M_b a_* derived, and the residual vacuum-energy density ρ_res ~ H² M_Pl² structurally derived, recovering ρ_Λ / ρ_Planck ~ 10⁻¹²² up to an O(1) coefficient; the SPARC verification on 149 quality-gated galaxies, supporting the predicted universal activation-radius band ⟨r_t / r_AQUAL⟩ ∈ [7, 10] and ruling out the naive instantaneous-baryon reading at high significance; structural attachment to the Standard Model with gauge group S(U(3) × U(2)) ≅ [SU(3) × SU(2) × U(1)] / Z_6; exactly three chiral families with no light exotics, from H_1(T³, Z) = Z³ and indecomposable winding; the hypercharge lattice fixed by the Z_6 holonomy with Y(Q_L) = 1/6 as empirical normalisation; compact U(1) and integer charge quantisation on physical colour-singlet states; and the substrate seesaw light-mass mechanism with exponential geometric suppression. Solar-system PPN tests are satisfied at 10⁻⁵ precision and the 2017 neutron-star-merger bound on the gravitational-wave speed is met automatically by Fierz–Pauli uniqueness on the single substrate cone. Several closely related quantitative targets remain open programme work and are explicitly labelled as such throughout: the SI value of G, the exact O(1) coefficient Γ_F / H, the specific ν_flux interpolation, the closed form of the substrate higher-curvature corrections, per-fermion masses and CKM/PMNS angles, the absolute electric charge unit e_0 and α_em, and the full cosmological-perturbation closure. The document opens with a two-part Prelude — Part I develops the ontological and conceptual spine; Part II is a notation, symbols, and status-vocabulary reader — and then a three-part technical body. Part I (Mathematical Theory) covers ten research areas: Foundations, Memory-Anisotropy Thermodynamics, Cosmogenesis, Emergent General Relativity, Dark Sector and Cosmology, Gauge Structure, Photon Sector, Fermion Sector, Standard Model Completion, and Open Problems. Part II (Experimental Verifications and Consistency Tests) assembles quantitative tests across solar-system PPN, galactic rotation curves, cosmological constraints (DESI DR1, Planck 2018), substrate quantum tests, and gauge/photon/memory checks. Part III (Roadmap) lists falsifiable predictions by research area and the next decisive theoretical and observational milestones. Eight evidential-status labels — derived, structurally derived, conditionally derived, compatible / effectively recovered, identified, matched, failed, open — are used uniformly throughout, with the reading guide in the Prelude fixing their precise meanings. Falsification criteria are registered for each primary prediction and for each null boundary of the demonstrated core. This document is not intended as a closed final-theory paper. It is a living technical programme: a single master manuscript in which derived results, conditional derivations, compatible / effective recoveries, identified unit anchors, failed routes, open closures, data confrontations, and future predictions are kept in one continuously updated chain. v12.2 closes Batch 1 of the closure roadmap (the strong-TOE-candidate core: controlled GR limit, one-rate dark-sector closure, structural Standard-Model attachment, and the final audit). Batch 2 — full cosmological perturbations, strong-field higher-curvature corrections, per-fermion spectra and mixing matrices, the fine-structure constant, and the full cosmogenesis closure — has not been started. v12.3 (July 2026): programme sourcebook updated to match the v1.1 public set — relational-energy postulate reduction (seven to six), referee-audit fixes, SPARC sections updated to the fit-free exterior-law results.
