Abstract

Fritjof Capra's The Tao of Physics (1975) identified structural resemblances between quantum physics and Eastern mysticism but stopped at 'parallels.' This paper proposes a concrete advance: a structural meta-framework in which V=N/D (Value = Signal / Friction), with fixed symbol definitions, can be mapped onto convergent structures in quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, the free energy principle (Friston, 2010), complex systems theory, and Buddhist, Taoist, and Shinto cosmology. The paper does not claim formal mathematical unification. It claims structural homology — that these traditions describe the same class of phenomena using different notation systems, and that V=N/D provides a provisional cross-domain formalism for making that homology explicit, testable, and falsifiable. Negative cases, boundary conditions, and falsifiable predictions are explicitly provided. The framework is positioned as an exploratory structural correspondence, not a universal law.
