Physical Bridge Claim Registry for Active Finite Distinction Systems
Abstract
Official website: distinctiontheory.orgPublic portal for the start guide, papers, claim status, failure registry, prior-art boundary, and citation resources. Canonical GitHub repository:https://github.com/yiningwu-research/Distinction-Theory Public Registry v1.0. Time, Observers, Horizons, Topological Persistence, and High-Risk Physical Extensions. This document registers the principal physical bridge claims of Distinction Theory and Active Finite Distinction Systems (FDS). It is a claim registry, not a completed physical theory. Its purpose is to make the physical extension space of FDS searchable, citable, dependency-ordered, and falsifiable. The registry organizes physical bridge claims by epistemic tier, dependency structure, prior-art relation, novelty statement, empirical status, required next work, and falsification or demotion condition. It is intended for priority, auditability, and future model development rather than immediate consensus. The registered claim families include: finite distinguishability and physical bridge assumptions; observers as finite distinction-registers; operational time as irreversible distinction update; finite causal access and invariant causal speed; bounded-memory reversible computation and housekeeping dissipation; horizons as observer-relative distinguishability boundaries; gravity as effective geometry of horizon maintenance; horizon-maintenance dark energy as a high-risk bridge hypothesis; topological persistence and the topological obstruction to local forgetting; the two-kink signature as a flagship near-term experimental protocol; CP/T-asymmetric identity transformation and fermion-generation bridge claims; quarantined high-risk interpretive extensions concerning particle identity, interaction functions, Pauli exclusion, mass-energy, dark matter, quantum measurement, confinement, mass gap, cosmological relic records, and invariant compression. The registry explicitly does not claim to derive the Standard Model gauge group, fix coupling constants, derive the numerical value of c or G, derive the full Einstein field equations, solve quantum measurement, replace QFT, GR, or the Standard Model, or prove dark energy. High-risk interpretive modules are quarantined from the formal FDS Core and may be demoted, revised, or abandoned without falsifying the bridge-free finite-system architecture. A central near-term target is the two-kink signature: paired non-analytic behavior in steady-state entropy production and operational forgetting rate at the same confirmed topological transition. This is registered as the most concrete DT-specific experimental proposal in the registry. The document is a companion physical bridge registry to: Wu, Y.
