MetaTime Action-Information Kernel v8.2: Final Integrated Edition Life, Emotional Valuation, and the Scaling of Action-Information from Geophysical to Astrophysical Consequence
Abstract
This v8.2 Final Integrated Edition supersedes the previous MetaTime Action-Information Kernel v8 while preserving its central thesis: action-information is not limited to human consciousness, but begins with life itself. Microorganisms, plants, corals, insects, animals, and ecosystems redirect matter and energy in ways that reshape atmospheres, soils, hydrology, chemistry, climate, geography, and biospheric boundary conditions. The v8.2 refinement introduces the missing valuation operator. Information does not act by itself; it becomes action-information only when perceived by a processor, interpreted through memory, valued according to biological, cognitive, social, or artificial priorities, and coupled to a capacity for physical action. In biological nervous systems, this valuation layer appears as emotion. In MetaTime terms, emotion is treated as a physical future-selection function. Formally, the primitive relation is written as a composition kernel, not as a literal dimensional product: action-information emerges through a kernel connecting accessible information, valuation, and action capacity. The paper therefore provides a bridge between latency, life, consciousness, technology, artificial intelligence, and large-scale physical consequence. Human civilization is treated as already geophysically powerful and weakly astrophysical, while any cosmological extension is explicitly left speculative and conditional on matter-energy flows at the relevant scale. This work is foundational and phenomenological. It does not claim empirical validation of the Action-Information Kernel, does not claim that current artificial intelligence is conscious, and does not claim that emotion violates physical law. Its contribution is to clarify the role of valuation in converting information into physically consequential action.
