Paper VI Quantum Phenomena and Their Spatial Origin in Planck Cube Space Theory
Abstract
This is Paper VI of the Planck Deformation Unit Space Theory (PDUST) series. It provides a unified physical realist interpretation of quantum phenomena based on the deformation unit framework. The wavefunction ψ is identified as the slowly-varying complex envelope of the twist field—an objective physical field arising from deformation of space units. The Born rule P(r) = |ψ(r, t)|² obtains a physical origin: detection probability is proportional to the local twist density. Key contributions include: - Uncertainty principle: arises from the combination of minimum resolvable scale of deformation and measurement disturbance - Wave-particle duality: unified as "particle itself + accompanying twist field"—interference is interference of the twist field, not of the particle itself - Quantum entanglement: topological identity of a shared deformation unit chain; compatible with Bell theorem and no-signaling - Quantum tunneling: reduces to a geometric condition, d = 4r₀, yielding the 10–14 Å equipotential interval - Schrödinger equation: interpreted as the effective evolution equation for the twist field envelope under continuum, long-wavelength, weak-damping approximations Statistical randomness is interpreted as arising from uncontrollable Planck-scale initial fluctuations, chaotic amplification, and detection coupling—not from intrinsic randomness.
