Abstract

AOI Shell v1.1 is a fully runnable implementation of a token-free, non-gradient, domain-agnostic signal processing organism. It takes arbitrary input (text, sensor data, market data, molecular signals) and collapses it through a chain of mathematically orthogonal filters anchored to the Leech Lattice geometry and the Monster Group representation structure. No tokens. No training weights. No gradient descent. Pipeline stages: 1. Token-free 24D encoder — 4-band statistical feature extraction (character composition, information density, structure/rhythm, distribution shape). Pure signal, no vocabulary. 2. 33-TE transponder chain (TEQA v3.0 / QNIF Spec, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.18529346) — the semantic transformation layer. 33 transposable element families applied as non-associative Givens rotations driven by Shannon entropy, followed by 11 CNOT/CZ entanglement couplings between neural TEs (q25–q32) and Class I/II targets. Non-associative: A→B→C ≠ A→(B,C). Order preserved exactly per QNIF. 3. 96D Leech shell embedding — 4 × 24D shells (raw input / Voodoo gauge / octonion product / non-commutative residue), then inverted J-coupling: J×rate pulls strongly-coupled shells together rather than apart, doubling the signal-noise gap (0.13 → 0.25 measured on Leech Lattice anchor vs pure noise baseline). 4. Octonion collapse engine — 12 octonions across 4 layers, 7 Fano associators, Jordan-Shadow decomposition, shell discriminator weights [1.0, 0.5, 1.5, 2.0] (S1 deprioritized, S3 amplified to full moonshine depth J₃). 5. Monstrous Moonshine grading — unified confidence scored against J-invariant representation decomposition (J₀=1 through J₃=864,299,970), yielding Grade 0–3. 6. Voodoo persistent state — living 24D gauge field updated each collapse as 0.8×old + 0.2×layer3. The organism adapts domain by domain without retraining. 7. Leech Lattice gold standard runner — N-organism perturbation study against the Λ₂₄ anchor (palindromic weights, norm=8.0, empirical alignment 0.842) to calibrate the pipeline against known maximal structure. 8. Molecular bridge — hormone-regime output scaling (FULL_TESTOSTERONE / STRESS_250C / AROMATIZING / FULL_ESTROGEN) driven by chaos and intent signals. The inverted J-coupling equation is an original mathematical contribution by Jim Jardine (May 2026): substituting J×rate for (1−J)×rate in the cross-shell coupling, which pulls strongly-correlated shells together rather than pushing dissimilar shells apart. Erratum (2026-07-29): The Monstrous Moonshine grading component named in this record's title and shipped in aoi_shell.zip is withdrawn as a reported quantity. The grader does not depend on the Monster group: 0 of 120,000 published grades change when every Monster-derived constant is replaced with a fabricated surrogate, and the grader assigns Grade 3 to pure Gaussian noise at 26.2% under the original rule, rising to 41.2% and 71.0% under the shipped patch and current rule. No recalibration recovers the intended measurement, so the grade should be dropped rather than reissued. The runnable 96D collapse pipeline, the 33-TE transponder chain and the 0.13→0.25 signal-versus-noise gap are unaffected, since the grade is a terminal readout never fed back into the pipeline — though that gap remains the record's only validation, with no dataset, labels or accuracy reported.
