Paper VII The Geometric Origin of Gravity
Abstract
This is Paper VII of the Planck Deformation Unit Space Theory (PDUST) series. It proposes a geometric framework for gravitation based on the deformation unit axioms. Gravity is interpreted as the asymmetric release of the equilibrium-seeking force around a massive body: the outward force is diluted layer by layer through infinite space, while the inward force is intercepted and amplified by particles inside the mass body. The resulting net effect directed toward the interior is interpreted as the physical origin of gravity. Key contributions include: - A "compression potential–compression degree–gravitational acceleration" three-layer structure - The 1/r form of the compression potential and 1/r² form of the compression degree derived from spherical geometric diffusion - Gravitational acceleration formula: g = G_space M / r², where G_space = Y ℓ_p0³ κ_g / (4π) - The numerical value κ_g ≈ 2.8×10⁻⁵ obtained from close-packed geometry and mass-energy equivalence estimates; G_space agrees with experimentally measured G - Systematic derivation of the four classical tests of gravity (surface gravity, gravitational redshift, light deflection, Mercury perihelion precession) - Geometric interpretation of the dark matter illusion: environmental dependence of the effective gravitational constant G_eff - Geometric origin of the Equivalence Principle: inertial mass and gravitational mass both originate from the same N, hence necessarily equal
