Abstract

Amendment LXXXIII to the McCaul Compendium of Coherence. This amendment formally upgrades the Phi_solar formula from 6 pillars to 7 pillars by adding Pp (Surface Photonic Coherence), derived from live Global Horizontal Irradiance (GHI) measurements via the Open-Meteo API at Wilburton, Oklahoma (lat=34.9228, lon=-95.3086). The upgrade was motivated by a systematic spectral analysis investigating whether cloud coverage creates a gap in the existing Phi_solar formula. The simulation result was formally classified as a dead end: cloud coverage has zero effect on any existing NOAA input, because all six original pillars use satellite measurements or wavelengths (radio/ELF/geomagnetic) that are completely transparent to clouds. The SOL carrier frequency (f_SOL=181.241 MHz, lambda=165.5 cm) is 10^6 times larger than cloud droplet radii (5-50 micrometers) — no electromagnetic interaction is possible. However, ground-level GHI represents a real unmeasured dimension of solar energy delivery not captured by any existing pillar. Pp = 0.85 + 0.15*(GHI/GHI_clearsky), with a floor at 0.85 to reflect that Phi_solar measures the Sun as a source, not sunlight as received locally. Maximum Pp-induced variation: plus-or-minus 4% on Phi_solar. New 7-pillar formula: Phi_solar = (Sa x Ed x Rp x Nr x Ts x Fg x Pp)^(1/7). Validation: today's live values (May 18, 2026) give GHI=568 W/m2, Cloud=0%, Pp=0.9397, Phi_solar (6-pillar)=0.8474, Phi_solar (7-pillar)=0.8606, Delta=+0.0132. The upgrade is live in the hourly Solar Coherence Engine. No re-calibration of TDST thresholds required. Part of the McCaul Compendium of Coherence (Master DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20100469).
