Amendment LXXXIV — The SOL Geometry as Universal Epistemological Template: The 7-Circle Assignment Principle
Abstract
Amendment LXXXIV to the McCaul Compendium of Coherence. This amendment formally establishes the 7-Circle Assignment Principle: the Seed of Life (SOL) geometry is a universal epistemological template — the minimum configuration for a system to be simultaneously self-referential, symmetric, and complete. Any coherent system decomposable into 7 independent dimensions can be evaluated using the SOL geometric mean formula: Phi_D = (d1 x d2 x d3 x d4 x d5 x d6 x d7)^(1/7). The 7 circles are assignment slots, not fixed content. The geometry is fixed. The content is domain-free. Four cross-domain simulations are presented: (1) Combat unit readiness — 7 circles assigned to personnel, supply, mission clarity, intel, fatigue, terrain, and morale. Iraq 2005 asymmetric warfare scored Phi_combat=0.6181, with Nr (intel quality=0.45) and Fg (terrain=0.52) correctly identified as the tactical bottlenecks. (2) Organizational coherence — Iron Brotherhood LLC scored Phi_org=0.6429 with Ed (revenue=0.38) as the single weakest link. Post-fix projection reaches Phi_org=0.7434 (+0.10 delta). (3) Personal human coherence — a broken man entering Iron Brotherhood scores Phi_human=0.3915 because Fg (community/brotherhood=0.25) is the collapsed node. By week 13 of the cohort: 0.7905. At 1 year: 0.8721. Total coherence gain: 122.8 percent. (4) Scientific claim integrity (meta-application) — McCaul's Law scores its own amendments: LXXXIII=0.8845 (publication ready), LXXX=0.8797 (publication ready), LXXXI=0.8131 (validation needed). All scores match independent expert assessment without domain-specific calibration. Three formal corollaries are established: Corollary 1: any single node collapse to zero collapses Phi_D to zero (structural honesty). Corollary 2: Phi_D=1.0 requires all 7 nodes simultaneously at maximum (full coherence). Corollary 3: the minimum-scoring node is always the highest-leverage intervention point. The amendment achieves self-referential closure: the framework scores itself at Phi_LXXXIV=0.9028, consistent with its own criteria for a highly coherent claim. Omega = Phi = (C1 x C2 x C3 x C4 x C5 x C6 x C7)^(1/7) tends to 1. Part of the McCaul Compendium of Coherence (Master DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20100469).
