We have developed a novel approach for representing shortwave and longwave radiation transfer, as well as turbulent exchange, within this three-dimensional urban environment, with vegetation simulations fully integrated into both processes. The UBCM leverages comprehensive high-resolution datasets describing urban land cover, geometric structure, vegetation, and water bodies. It also provides a relatively complete representation of human processes, including building energy consumption, traffic heat, metabolic heat, and urban irrigation.
