Abstract

This document presents the results of a systematic mapping and analysis of training activities in Open and Responsible Research and Innovation (Open RRI), conducted as part of Task 1.1 within Work Package 1 (WP1) of the Horizon Europe project Piloting open and responsible Activities and Trainings Towards the Enhancement of Researchers Networks (PATTERN) (Grant Agreement No. 101094416)). Developed under the leadership of Aarhus University, the report provides structured summaries of training resources across key thematic areas, including Open Access, FAIR data and Research Data Management, Citizen Science, Research Integrity, Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Dissemination and Exploitation of Research Results, Science Communication, Management and Leadership, as well as selected cross‑cutting Open Science and general RRI resources. For each training area, the document analyses resource types, target audiences, expertise levels, delivery modes, and content themes, and identifies key gaps, limitations, and opportunities for reuse. The results contribute to the state-of-the-art overview of Open RRI training in Europe and inform subsequent PATTERN activities on quality assessment and training development.
