Abstract

Authors note: This paper's title page lists JD Longmire as sole author. Per ADR-EA-0008, the AI-centric Digital Ecosystem (AIDE) corpus is jointly authored by JD Longmire and Micah Longmire; this deposit's metadata reflects that corpus-level identity. The on-paper artifact attribution is preserved as published. This paper specifies AIDEX (AI Digital Experience) as the worker-facing subdomain within AEON, the AI Enterprise Orchestration Nexus that serves as the enterprise control plane for the agentic era. AIDEX is the architectural substrate for Human-Curated, AI-Enabled (HCAE) knowledge work in defense and aerospace enterprises. HCAE is the framework: the human practitioner curates AI-enabled output, remains the locus of judgment and accountability, and contributes to institutional practice as an attributed and consenting participant. AIDEX is the architecture that expresses HCAE operationally at the digital experience layer; AEON is the broader control plane within which AIDEX sits. This paper is part of the AI-centric Digital Ecosystem (AIDE) corpus; see https://github.com/ologos-repos/aide-canon for the canonical home and related work.
