Abstract

This module applies Coherence Dynamics Architecture (CDA) to ND parent/child interactions, framing the family as a multi‑agent Tier‑3 system composed of differently tuned coherence architectures. Instead of interpreting behaviour through psychological traits or emotional narratives, CDA models ND households as interacting self‑modelling systems with distinct coherence parameters, recovery windows, recognition mechanics, and externalisation patterns. These differences create predictable friction points, state‑shift cascades, and stabilisation failures that are structural rather than personal. The module introduces key concepts such as temporal desynchronisation, loop conflict, asymmetric externalisation, and coupled state‑shifts, offering a measurable and non‑pathological explanation for the intensity of ND family dynamics. Falsifiable predictions are included to support empirical testing. Practical guidance is provided for stabilising ND households by prioritising coherence, reducing perturbation, and aligning recovery windows. This module serves as an accessible entry point into CDA for parents, practitioners, and researchers.
