TOWER-CORE: Structural Integrity Assessment and Safety Governance for Vertical Tower Systems
Abstract
TOWER-CORE is a structural integrity assessment and safety governance framework for vertical tower systems, grounded in structural engineering, dynamic loading analysis, fracture mechanics, and real-time infrastructure monitoring. The framework integrates ambient vibration modal identification, fatigue accumulation analysis, overturning stability assessment, stiffness degradation modeling, and multi-sensor telemetry fusion to continuously evaluate tower structural condition under operational and extreme environmental loading. TOWER-CORE is composed of three interconnected analytical modules: DFMM — Dynamic Frequency Monitoring Module SJFAM — Structural Joint Fatigue Assessment Module GSOAM — Global Stability and Overturning Assessment Module The system continuously computes the Tower Structural Integrity Index (TSII), a real-time composite safety certification metric governing structural reliability, fatigue progression, resonance emergence, and overturning stability margins. The framework is designed for lattice towers, monopoles, guyed masts, offshore vertical structures, and high-rise support systems operating under dynamic wind loading and long-term fatigue accumulation conditions.
