Abstract

Structures of Time Time Flow, Matter and Gravitation as Organizational States of Structured Time Fields – A Physical Foundational Model and its Ontological Interpretation An ontological foundational study with an open research character. The present approach develops an ontologically oriented model in which time is understood not as an abstract parameter, but as a physically effective structure. Its starting point is the structural asymmetry that time determines all dynamics within current formalisms while lacking a physical carrier of its own. The TI model describes time as a field structure whose local manifestation is determined by temporal frequency, coupling, and phase relations. Within this framework, gravitation appears as a modification of temporal frequency and thus as an expression of bound field states. From this perspective, a unified structural interpretation emerges for different physical phenomena. Gravitational nonlinearities, large-scale dynamics commonly attributed to dark matter, and the correlations observed in quantum entanglement can be interpreted consistently as manifestations of common coupling conditions, coherence requirements, and their limiting behavior. Rather than introducing new mathematical formalisms at the outset, the approach evaluates its internal consistency through stress tests, analyses of limiting regimes, and thought experiments. The model is not intended as a replacement for established theories but as a possible ontological foundation underlying them. Its physical relevance ultimately depends on whether the proposed relationships can be translated into empirically accessible and quantitatively testable questions. The mathematical formalization of many structural relationships discussed within the TI model, as well as their numerical and experimental investigation, remain subjects for future research. The present work is intended as a starting point for further theoretical, numerical, and empirical examination of the questions raised by the model.
