Information System Integration for Credit Card Operations and Banking Service Efficiency
Abstract
Banking institutions rely on integrated information systems to manage large volumes of customer transactions, card services, and operational processes. Credit card management requires efficient handling of account records, transaction monitoring, and customer support services to maintain operational stability and service quality. This research examines the integration of banking information systems for credit card operations and their role in improving service efficiency within financial institutions. The study analyzes operational workflows in credit card processing environments supported by core banking systems such as transaction management platforms and customer account databases. The research framework evaluates data handling procedures, operational monitoring tools, and reporting mechanisms used to manage high transaction volumes and customer inquiries. Findings indicate that integrated banking information systems improve operational coordination, support timely account maintenance, and assist financial institutions in managing large customer portfolios. The research highlights how management information systems can strengthen operational reliability and service delivery in banking environments.
