Artifact of the paper: Carbon-Aware Mapping and Scheduling for Deadline-Constrained Workflows

This artifact contains the code and data needed to reproduce the results of the paper 'Carbon-Aware Mapping and Scheduling for Deadline-Constrained Workflows' (authors: Dominik Schweisgut, Anne Benoit, Yves Robert, Henning Meyerhenke). All data and code are contained in the .zip file. For detailed instructions on how to reproduce our results, please follow the instructions on the overview document (overview_document.pdf). We describe the necessary setup to compile and run our code and explain how to reproduce our results. Automated scripts are provided for this purpose as well. Finally, we also explain how to interpret the results in case you want to run a reduced subset of the experiments. We also provide a quick run that executes a small subset of the experiments. After extracting the .zip-file just run './quick_run.sh'. The script compiles all corresponding algorithms, creates a virtual environment and installs all necessary packages in the environment. Then it runs and evaluates the experiments on a small subset of the instances and evaluates the experiments by generating the same kind of plots as provided in our paper.
