Datasets and Analysis Scripts for "Revealing Enhanced Signals of Future Marine Heatwave Changes in the East/Japan Sea through a High-Resolution Dynamical Downscaling Ensemble"

This repository contains the post-processed datasets and analysis scripts used to generate Figures 1–9 in the following study: Oh et al. (2026), "Revealing Enhanced Signals of Future Marine Heatwave Changes in the East/Japan Sea through a High-Resolution Dynamical Downscaling Ensemble", Earth's Future. The repository is intended to support the reproducibility of the published results. It includes the post-processed datasets derived from CMIP6 and ROMS simulations, as well as the corresponding analysis and visualization scripts used in the study. The scripts were developed using MATLAB, GrADS, and R, while some figures were additionally processed using Microsoft Excel. Each figure folder (Figures 1–9) contains the datasets and codes required to reproduce the corresponding figure. Users may need to modify file paths within the scripts to match their local computing environment before execution. Information on the original raw datasets, model configurations, software packages, and external data sources used in this study is provided in the accompanying documentation.
