SI20-4: A UV-Regulated Flat-Background Spin-2 Quantum Gravity Framework
Abstract
SI20-4 is a quantum-gravity framework built on five axioms: a featureless void, a massless spin-2 field, a sharp Planck-scale momentum cutoff imposed on the path-integral measure (not the action), emergent Lorentz covariance, and Fierz–Pauli dynamics completed by the Deser bootstrap. Spacetime is emergent rather than fundamental. The series derives black-hole entropy, singularity resolution, a one-loop correction to the Hawking temperature with a specific coefficient (C_QG = 49/6), gravitational-wave echo predictions, and a non-perturbative/lattice treatment of the Planck-scale regime. This version (v9) brings the series into consistency with the gauge-structure companion paper (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20640292). Part 4 §4.0 is superseded: the earlier claim that nonlinear BRST consistency holds is replaced by the companion's quantified result — at the linearised one-loop level GR's gauge-consistent results are inherited up to a measured deviation f(k) ≈ k/M_P, the one-loop TT transversality identity holds exactly, and nonlinear diffeomorphism invariance breaks at the Planck boundary with overflow fraction f(0.3 M_P) = 0.253 ± 0.030 — the same logical status as the framework's predicted breaking of Lorentz invariance. Part 1's open-problems table is updated accordingly. Parts 0, 2, 3, 5a, and 5b are unchanged. A note before you read: This is the work of an independent researcher. It is not LQG or String theory. Spacetime here is not fundamental — it emerges. If that breaks your framework, close the tab. No hard feelings. Still here? Good. Read it as many times as you want online. I hope you find it interesting. If you download it, I ask one small favor: send an email. It can be empty. It can be "this is crank." Anything. I just don't think silence helps research move forward. Write "no reply" in it and I will honor that. And I ask you to honor that you write the email if you download it. Think of it like you take something and you give something.
