Development of a Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model Based on Tunjuk Ajar Melayu to Strengthen Civic Skills Among Senior High School Students in Riau Province, Indonesia

Anonymized dataset and extended data from a quasi-experimental study (R&D ADDIE design) evaluating the VCT learning model based on Tunjuk Ajar Melayu to strengthen civic skills. N = 140 senior high school students (70 experimental, 70 control) from four schools in Riau Province, Indonesia. Underlying data: VCT_TAM_Zenodo.csv and VCT_TAM_Zenodo.xlsx contain item-level pre-test and post-test responses on the 30-item CSS-RSS instrument, a codebook, and summary statistics. No participant identifiers are included. Extended data: Extended_Data_1_CSS-RSS_Questionnaire.pdf contains the 30-item Civic Skills Scale for Riau Secondary Students (CSS-RSS) questionnaire used to assess students' civic skills, in Bahasa Indonesia with an English translation, including administration instructions, response format, and scoring. Extended_Data_2_Interview_Guide.pdf contains the semi-structured interview guide used with PKn teachers and cultural informants during the Analysis phase of the ADDIE model.
