Abstract

Many obstruction arguments exhibit a localized failure mode that appears irreducible at the layer where it is first visible; this paper studies one audited route by which such needle obstructions cease to be obstructions, namely passage to a higher layer where additional admissible dissolving probes are available. The framework is the formed-layer membrane setting: zero-energy directions are removed by a legal quotient, native probes are assigned a quadratic native currency, unexplained dissolving currency is measured by an adequacy residual, and predictive membranes, dissolving transport records, and the all-six taxonomy control the transfer. The layer-dissolving endpoint theorem shows that, under predictive native bounds, residual bounds, and transport hypotheses, the dissolving currency is bounded uniformly across accepted stages, so no layer-dissolving predictive needles exist within the declared scope. The complementary duality-confinement membrane theorem shows that, under a separating anti-invariant readout and a vanishing-trace sequence of domination records, visible object mass is confined to the fixed locus of the involution. These are framework-bound dissolution results, not a universal singularity-elimination theorem or a claim about any named external problem. The adequacy-residual calculus on which the layer-dissolving endpoint depends is developed in Tsiokos2026XiCompanion.
