Sensory Processing Sensitivity and Trauma Vulnerability: An Integrative Hypothesis from Oriental Medicine Neurodynamics (OMN™)
Abstract
This paper proposes that sensory processing sensitivity (SPS) and vulnerability to trauma may both be interpreted through a shared constitutional dimension within the OMN™ framework — specifically, the boundary-regulation function (referred to here as Ko, 固) and the constitutional strength of the Heart–Kidney axis. This proposition is presented not as an empirically validated model, but as a conceptual positioning hypothesis.
