Abstract

The Standard Model treats fermion masses, mixing angles, and the number of generations as independent free parameters. This paper develops the matter sector of Entanglement Network Gravity, a framework in which spacetime and matter are emergent descriptions of one unified quantum field whose field-level entanglement is the primitive substrate. Fermions are identified as topological defects of the network. A charged lepton is a three-fold (Z3) vertex defect whose mass-amplitude operator is forced by symmetry into the circulant (Brannen) form, and a single postulate of topological balance then yields the Koide relation R = 2/3 exactly. Rewritten as R = D_geom/3, the relation ties the Koide bound R
