Abstract

MOO_Prob_Matlab is a MATLAB benchmark repository for derivative-free multiobjective optimization. Version v1.0.0 accompanies the DMS-SI-Mix manuscript and provides a single open repository containing the benchmark material used in the computational study. The repository is organized into three benchmark collections. First, it includes MATLAB implementations of the original Direct Multisearch benchmark problems, originally distributed in AMPL, providing a reusable MATLAB reference set for DMS-type methods. Second, it includes continuous heterogeneous-scale multiobjective benchmark instances, used to compare Direct Multisearch with its scale-invariant canonical formulation under controlled variable-scaling strategies. Third, it includes mixed-variable multiobjective benchmark instances combining continuous, ordered discrete, and categorical variables, including the controlled mixed benchmark pairs reported in the DMS-SI-Mix study. The repository supports reproducible benchmarking of deterministic derivative-free multiobjective optimization methods, including DMS, scale-invariant direct multisearch variants, and mixed-variable direct-search algorithms.
